An independent, female-run cafe and event space inside the Whitechapel Gallery
A weekly changing menu of Italian-ish salads, artisanal ciabatta sandwiches, hearty soups and signature bakes.
We use only the very best produce: Cacklebean Eggs from the Cotswolds, Estate Dairy milk and yoghurt from Norfolk, free range herb-fed chicken from Perry’s Butcher just up the road in Spitalfield’s Market, and all our vegetables from Ted’s Veg. Our coffee is roasted by Climpson & Sons in East London, and our sourdough loaves come from E5 Bakehouse: both are delivered to us by bicycle.
Aperitivo and Events
Every Thursday evening we stay open until 8.30 pm for Whitechapel Lates, serving New Theory wines, Italian-inspired aperitivo nibbles and an £8 spritz and snack deal.
